gents

Does anybody know if the F-12 EF-180B 80m rotary dipole resonates on any
other ham band.. besides 80m ??

The EF-180B is no longer made by F-12 It's a LL 68' long dipole.

It will be mounted at the top of the mast, inline with the boom of both the 20m
and also 40m yagi below it.
IE: 20+40m yagi pointed north, 80m dipole oriented north, but 80m dipole
radiates E-W.

The reason I ask is.. I'm also playing with the idea of mounting a F-12
N1715XL 17/15m yagi..... 17' below the top of the tower, on a tic ring.

I'd like to know if the 80m dipole will interact with the 17/15m yagi?
As is, the 80m dipole will not interact with either the 20 or 40m yagi's.

I know a fellow who has a Create CD-78 80m rotary dipole, [aprx 54' long]
that he sez will resonate on 80m.. and also 20 and 15m..go figure.

If worse comes to worse.. I could always rotate the 80m dipole independent
of the 17/15 yagi.

Until I put the mfj on the 80m dipole, I have no clue as to if it resonates on
other ham bands.

I don't operate 10/12/30m at all... and have no interest in 10/12/30m. So
if the 80m dipole screws up 10/12/30 m..... it's a moot point.

However, 160m may be in the works.. down the road... but that will be a low
priority item.. bottom of the list. Perhaps shunt feeding the tower.. or a LL
1/4 wave sloper..dunno.

Thanks... Jim VE7RF
