True enough! All our stuff had no more than 2:1 VSWR, which really helped
everything survive. That's hard to accomplish on the low-bands... 160
especially.
I run a 500' horizontal loop and an inverted L on all HF bands (being
antenna restricted sucks!) and I try not to think about the voltages
associated with the mismatches I have. So far, so good!

Errrr...Is there such a thing as a mil spec dipole?<:-)) Actually
running at the band edges on 160 and 75 with the accompanying high SWR,
the voltage gets pretty high.
