They assume that you are going to use compression fittings with that stuff
unfortunately.

I recently purchased 200' of RG-6 from Lowes for a receiving antenna.
The braid is real strange stuff. Looks, act and feels like steel. I can't
get ordinary, resin-core solder to attach at all. The solder just beads up
and falls off.
Any suggrstions as to how to solder this stuff?
