My self supporting tower may be a little different than a guyed tower but
when I borrowed a transit to plumb my Rohn SSV tower, I was surprised to see
that it was a lot like spaghetti. The sections leaned in all directions. I
ended up just aligning the very top of the tower. If one could get rid of
the wind, a plumb line from the top to the bottom would be my preferred
method if one didn't have a transit. Ken K5RG
