Is the "un" end of a balun (in particular a 4:1 balun) actually "stateless"? That is, could I attach a balanced feedline (ladder) to the "un" connection (modified to replace the coax connector with a couple of banana jacks) and expect to see balanced currents (within the constraints of the actual imbalance of the load itself)? Or is there going to be a major current imbalance introduced in the feedline?
