We have a fully stocked Rohn dealer (Three Star) down here in central FL.
Isn't there one within a reasonable driving distance?
I have a Hyundai Accent. Picked up an entire kitchen/bathroom cabinet order
in January. Drove from Philadelphia, PA to Binghamton, NY with the
passenger's side window open so the moulding could stick out. Rear hatch
was open and strapped down to keep what was inside, inside. Saved 400$ in
shipping even accounting the fuel. Saved big $$$ on the order over Lowe's
or any of the competitors. Interestingly enough, one of the businesses that
I called for cabinet prices tried to sell me the same vanity that I could
buy (and did!) from his supplier for $150 less.
My theory is to use the flat world of the internet to climb the supply
ladder far enough to cut out retailers. Works most of the time.
