Case in point, years ago I lived in a subdivision (pre CC&Rs). The
teens across the street would have band practice in the garage,
playing for anyone 1/2 mile away, or so it seemed.

It's amazing what a kw, AM on 75 could do to the guitar amps ...

After a time, they gave up, to the relief of the neighborhood.
