I remember reading that article in CQ. It may have been in the July issue.
BTW, I use Polyphaser devices (have been since 1998, never had a problem as
described in the article), so am not interested in gas discharge devices.

In either CQ or QST a few months ago there was an article on gas discharge
tubes and selection recommendations.
I tore out the article to save it but our move to our new QTH has it
squirreled away somewhere unknown at the moment.
