These are easy to rebuild yourself. The rebuilders will happily sell you the 
parts as will MFJ. If the races in the housing look good, and you’re inclined, 
go for it. I have two in case one quit and I’m the 30+ years I’ve had them, 
I’ve swapped them twice. Both One was due to a dirty potentiometer, one was due 
to carelessness on my part (no centering shim). 

Respect their limitations and they’ll work for a very long time without 
trouble.
