Polygon rod badly frayed in Haiti - not sure if this link will work.

I would never suggest polygon rod for any tower guying.

There are no shaky Phillystran terminations - what???

I have lots of experience with the Polygon rod - it is bad news - I had a
fiberglass rod break.

DXE supplies Phillystran - it can last lots of years if installed correctly -
It is what is on all 13 towers at K3LR

I was not suggesting that he use fiberglass rod instead, because I'm
well aware of the problems people had with spontaneous deterioration.
My only point was to suggest he explore the possibility of a bulk buy of
Phillystran, as a way of bringing down the cost without resorting to
used material with perhaps shaky terminations.
