| I still use Eudora 7.1 for all my personal and
ham radio e-mail. I like to have an offline copy
of all important e-mails from the past 25 years
in one local database. Makes searching for topics
and conversations easy with the archive.

Eudora never went away. It works fine with Windows 10.
I have been using it for over 26 years. There is a very active email
list with expert help (join-eudora-win@hades.listmoms.net)
It has been updated independently for newer SSL standards.
The biggest issue is that it does not handle the UTF-8 character set.

Another vote for Thunderbird.  I switched to
it when Eudora went away. Wes  N7WS
