The lower height is below the tops of the trees. While this is not a
problem for HF, I'm not sure about VHF.
The coax run is Belden 89880--loss of 1.15 dB per 100 feet at 50 MHz. Total
loss with the jumper and connectors will be less than 2.75 dB.
