It's MAD MAD MAD MAD World...at least it will be
this Saturday...that's right it's Microwave Activity Days..
new and improved for 2004...

Get ur stuff on the air for this Saturday 0800-1200 for
some pre-contest shakedown excercises. It looks like
the wx will be OK (at least here in the East) for some
mountaintop MADness and microwave testing.

Listen on 144.260 +/-, and find some signals to pounce
on from 50-MHz thru 47GHz. Activity and interest is
building, and it's a lot more fun to actually make some
QSO than to just hear a signal generator in ur deaf
rcvr, or to just move a meter with ur weak xmtr.

Get on the AIR and work some stations.

We wish for a great 2004 for everyone...and lots of
2-way QSOs on all of your favorite frequency bands.

We're hoping to get out to the mountains in FM08us for
the event. It was a ball last weekend, and we're hoping to
find even more activity this Saturday...the 1st MAD of the
great new year. Resolve yourself to have more fun on the
microwaves this year. It's really a gas...!

Happy New Year to all...
listen for the weak ones...

73,
Bill W3IY
