Xtof and I took the jitney down to Virginia Beach for an FM26 start
from the Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge, where conditions were
great! Unfortunately, by the time we got on the bridge-tunnel a couple
hours later things had quieted down substantially. Seemed like
participation was generally down, very hard to scare up business late
Saturday nite at Cambridge and Ruthsburg, and at Blue Knob sunday
morning.
We had problems on 2 and 3G that need tracking down, and we're still
not getting peak performance from the low band station .. sri to those
calling who we couldn't hear. In spite of all that, we roved a total
of 1007 miles and 12 grids, with the following results:
50 90 90 16
144 139 139 19
222 80 160 12
432 100 200 15

2.3 17 68 3
3.4 10 40 2
5.7 14 56 3
10 11 44 3
