This was my first attempt on 432MHz from my location in FM17fo. Equipment used:
IC-706MKIIG, home brew 8 element quagi and KLM 110 watt amp. The antenna did
pretty well at 345 feet ASL.
I was only on for about an hour but managed to make 7 Q's in 6 grids.
K4QI was loud as usual from FM06. KN4SM had a very nice signal from FM16. Also
worked W4SHG/R in FM19 and KE2N in FM18.
All in all, I'm pleased with the antenna as I worked everyone I could hear.
Thanks for the Q's and we'll see you for the 6 meter sprint in a couple of
weeks!
