Not when roving... the computer can be synced prior to leaving the  
house, but if it's got an inaccurate clock, unless you have some sort  
of commercial mobile cellular data service, it won't be able to synch  
again until you get back.

Also many multi-op stations are set up "in the field" where there's no  
Internet connectivity also.

But... most computers can easily keep time within two minutes over the  
course of a two day contest... unless you're using some old machine  
that has a dead BIOS battery and power it off, or similar... as long  
as they were synced before leaving home...
