What do list members think of the Icom 7000 as a VHF contesting rig? Yes, I
know it has infitinely selectable filters but is it worth the extra money over
a Yaesu FT857/FT897/FT100D or an Icom 706MKIIG? I figure a used 7000 goes for
probably twice as much as one of those models used.
