Wanted to also offer my congratulations to Doug, K4AC for being elected the Southeastern Division Director. It will be great to have a "VHF Man" in a position to represent the interests of hams active above 50 MHz, especially with the disbanding of the VUAC.

I'd also like to offer my sincere thanks to Greg Sarratt, W4OZK for his years of dedicated service. Greg was an fairly active VHF/UHF Contest operator until the duties of the position gradually diminished his on-air time. Here's hoping that Doug can avoid a similar fate, and that Greg will now find time to return to the air.

All of us should be very grateful for the work these volunteers do on our behalf.

Congratulations again, Doug!
