In the US, at least in a lot of places, 144.500 - 144.900 is repeater
inputs, so if you could figure a spot where there weren't any of
those, maybe. But then 144.900 - 145.100 is "simplex and packet" in
most bandplans.
There's also that "new OSCAR subband" that appears on so many
bandplans but not on any satellites (OK, a few), 144.300 - 144.500 ...
Take those for what they are worth and recall that you didn't pay
anything for them ... :-)
