Nice to work K4WW on 15m for a new multiplier last weekend.
During our QSO he asked me to spot them on the EU Cluster.
Unfortunately I could not do them the favour because as a single
operator I had packet turned off completely, of course.
This week someone posted his SINGLE Op HP score on this reflector.
At the same time he complained about occasional problems with
DXTELNET he was using during the contest.
I am not familiar with DXTELNET at all but I learned that it
provides a "spotting assistance" as mentioned under 3.2.3 Roundup
rules. And these rules require a station to enter Multi Op in that case.
Maybe someone is interpreting the rules his own way?
Maybe mistake? ignorance? chea.... ? (no, definetely no cheating).
Well, it is not my intention to blame a fellow contester.
But the rules should be observed in any case by everyone.
