What OS? What protocol is each wksta running? What is the physical layer
(10BT / 100BT / Coax-BNC)? Maybe old PCs are running 10BT and newer run is
100? With PCI you don't have to worry about IRQ.
As long as the PCI NIC is properly configured with a protocol in common with
the other boxes NIC it should work. I assume you are running IP. See if
you can PING the boxes by IP address.

Subject: [WriteLog] Networking computers
Hi All,
I have a problem. Trying to set up all computers on a peer-to-peer network.
All 3 older machines see each other, but new, high horsepower machine only
has PCI slots. After installing PCI network card, new machine sees itself on
network, but no other computers. Other machines do not see new one. I cannot
see any provision for setting IRQ or memory range. What am I doing wrong?
