I had that problem and it drove me nuts... Every time I played a wave from a
function key, the mic was muted.
I finally stopped operating and looked over the options and found that when
I closed WL that under TOOLS - SOUNDBOARD the Echo Microphone was no longer
checked... Once I checked that, the problem was solved.
