And to John ON4UN - thanks for the SP QSO and congrats on the big signal
stateside! But as far as "I heard that... I understand that... etc...":
Contest organizer N6TR made a deliberate & specific request to the contest &
160M communties for Cabrillo files. Perhaps they will accept ascii files,
but they much prefer Cabrillo because of the huge amount of processing
required to score the Stew Perry logs (extra QRP qso points, etc). This
processing can be automated if they receive Cabrillo format files. I think
they would appreciate it if Writelog users could follow Eric's method and
mail in a Cabrillo log.
