You could run MMTTY in full-screen on a separate computer as a RTTY decoder
and direct it's decoded output to a serial port, then patch this port to
the computer running WL and tell WL it is a dumb terminal. This would give
you the conventional MMTTY look (on that other computer's screen) and you
would have the full-screen MMTTY controls.
I did this last year before the plug-in became available. I wasn't
interested in the waterfall then, and don't know how much of it I could
have viewed.
You actually pass 3Khz of that bedlam to your sound card? I use filters in
my radios.
