As many of you know, the TTL output from IC-765 stopped functioning =
some time ago. (Yes, I tried a different CT-17 interface) Icom does =
not have a service center in or near NYC, so I need to send it back to =
the factory.
The radio is nearly ten years old, so I no longer have the original box =
and shipping material. Has anyone packed an IC-765 for shipping and =
gotten it back intact without the original box? How did you pack it? =
I'm especially interested in how you protected the front panel.
Thanks and 73,
Frank
