A cheaper alternative that I have had good luck with is the Lava Quattro 4 port
PCI serial card. Available on the Internet for less than $80. Lava has a
lifetime guarantee with no exceptions and honored it when I got nailed by
lightening two years ago. To find out more about the card try www.lavalink.com
(if my memory is correct).
The usual, I have no connection with Lava except for being a satisfied user of
this product.

I use the 4 port PCI cards from Byterunner, in fact I have two of them in
one machine so I have COM1 through COM10. They work fine.
ISA is dead as you have realized.
