Dear Terry,
I use dual receive with my ft1000mp mkV by using two soundcards.
The uses with two cards can be found on WA9ALS website.
Actually my setup is not dual receive as AA5AU describes on his website.
I use two soundcards :
one card decodes vfo A
another one decodes vfo B
If you punt A=B you will have dual reveive a la AA5AU.
But I use this setup in contests for to listening on the same or on a
different band during non-transmitting sessions.
The different bands are limited by the bandpassfilters due to the
attentuation e.g. 28/21 works well, 14/21 works well, 40/80 works.
Since I am a low power station, I run mostly S and P and I am tuning the two
VFO 's, on VFO B I turn the audio down and I am tuning visual on the mmtty
screen.
This setup is what you can call SO1.5R.
Happy newyaer and good heathl for you and yours.

Subject: [WriteLog] Dual receive discussion
> I have looked through past threads regarding using dual receive with two
rtty windows. How have you done this? My set up is an FT-1000MP and a P38
and rigblaster sound card. I have read Don's excellent tutorial on how to
set up dual receive, but would like to also hear from you 1000mp users.
