Well,
You know what, I'm going to pretend that this discussion that you two have
decided to weigh in and compare your technical prowess on is relevant to
Writelog.
Nope, can't do it. Your verbal "sword-fight" about operating systems and "I
know more than you" and "You don't know what your criticizing" has nothing to
do with Writelog.
This forum is not here to debate how Writelog should or should not be written.
Suggestions or "wishlist" items are certainly OK, but this is getting out of
hand.
It's too bad, since I am certain that I am not the only one who does not want
to have to read through your esoteric discussion to find out that it's
something I should have deleted.
You both are taking a very arrogant approach and assuming that the whole
Writelog group wants to listen in on your debate. Not true.
The proper thing would be for you two to go off and debate it privately, but I
don't think that would feed your egos enough. Oh, and you two are not the only
people that do this - so don't think I'm picking on you - your just convenient
and timely.
I'm sorry to take up list bandwidth for this, but I have been putting up with
this sort of thing for years, and quite frankly, I'm tired of biting my tongue
about it.

Bob N5NJ

We are not debating pro audio issues. We are debating legacy software
vs operating systems, a topic quite relevant to users of WriteLog, and
even more so to WriteLog's programmer(s).
