Mike,
I just now installed v10.48F on the two machines I just used in IARU CW. In both cases, I let it find and "reuse" the existing WriteLog.ini file.... but I did back it up just in case :-))
I had some kind of system software corruption in one machine so the update would not install via the setup program. (Win 98SE). It installed OK after a reboot of that machine. The second machine installed OK on the first run of the setup program.

The CT acceleration keys seem to work fine on both machines. I don't have your CqFunctionKey=1 line in my WriteLog.ini file but it still seems to find F1 as the CQ key.

I forget which OS you are using but both of these were different 300 MHz class machines; one AMD and the other Intel. Both are running Win 98SE and they do seem to behave a little differently from time to time.

You might try to reassign your "old" WriteLog.ini file and see if it works OK. If not, I guess it is a copy and paste job to transfer all the existing .ini data to the new one your system seems to like.

Hello,

Started using V10.48F in the IARU (CW) and the F1 CQ function doesn't work. In V10.47 it did.

Writelog.ini located in the C:.\WINDOWS folder has the CtCompatibleAccel=YES and CqFunctionKey=1.

However, after renaming the Writelog.ini and opening up Writelog (establishing a new Writelog.ini) the F1 key now works without the CtCompatibleAccel==YES and CqFuntionKey=1 showing up in the new Writelog.ini.

Any ideas on what is happening?
