At the PJ2T CQWW CW Multi-Multi, we escaped the
problem for over 40 hours, then it struck three
of the five computers in quick succession. It had
been a repeated problem during CQWW SSB.
It was our impression that the "Gab" function may
also be involved. The computers involved had been
using that function a great deal during the period
prior to the event, and a large buffer of Gab
messages seemed to be cycling through that window
at the same time that the bandmap started "jittering".
I haven't been able to follow this discussion while
away, but will review the archives. This has to be
tracked down and stomped out quickly: some of the PJ2T
ops were suggesting a switch to N1MM.
