Charlie,
I use WriteLog with MMTTY with my IBM Thinkpad T30. It has only LINE IN, MIC IN
and PHONES OUT on the sound card. And, of course, the soundcard is integrated
with the motherboard and uses the Analog Devices AD1881A AC97 codec. Even
though the T30 has a serial port on the motherboard, I am using a microHam
MicroKeyer connected to a USB port as the interface between the T30 and an Icom
IC-756PRO and an IC-756PROIII. They all work seamlessly together trouble-free.
MicroHam has taken care of a slow transmit speed problem with some changes in
their software/firmware. MicroHam's setup templates make setup and
configuration painless.
You can't go wrong with an IBM Thinkpad!

John W8UL
