I'm using my new Dell laptop with Vista in the ARRL DX contest and am experiencing a noticeable lag from the time I press an F key and the when the audio file starts playing. It seems like it's almost a half second or so. I never had this with my old Compaq running XP. Is there a parameter I can tweak somewhere to reduce or eliminate this delay? An ini file command? 73, Gary AL9A _______________________________________________ WriteLog mailing list WriteLog@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/writelog WriteLog on the web: http://www.writelog.com/ |
