Hi Leo,
Red B means the program thinks you are on the wrong "Band" or
mode for the contest. You can click on the frequency of a log entry
and edit the frequency or mode. If the red B remains, you may need to
"refresh" the log by going to menu "Contest":"Recalculate Score".
You can also just create a Cabrillo file, and then edit the cabrillo
file with a text editor. Then submit your log to the contest sponser.
You only need to fix QSOs in Writelog if you want Writelog to calculate
your claimed score. The contest sponsor doesn't care about your
claimed score and will check your log and calculate your true score.
Another method of fixing Red B has previously been suggested by K5DJ
for when you used the wrong contest module:
>>
This is a common problem, you selected the CQ WPX and selected SSB or
RTTY
instead of CW as the mode of operation.
This is very easy to fix:
1. Do a file Export ADI
2. Do a File New. This time select the CQ WPX CW instead of SSB or RTTY
3. Do a File Import and select the file you made in (1)

Good luck,
