[WriteLog] Write Log set up

OK Santa brought me a female-female DB-9 Serial Cable. I connected it to the
USB Port on my USB Hub using a Serial-USB connector. It says I am in Com15
but Write Log only shows Com1-4. 
 
Where can I find directions on connecting up Write Log to my FT 1000MP??
 
I have used Write Log for about a  year entering everything manually and
want to do it automatically.
