Hi Howie

We run a Win7 platform with at least 4 usb/serial interfaces, four virtual com
ports, 6 usb interfaces for navigator, and a variety of interfaces - all
handled very nicely for writelog, flex / ic7700, HRD and a variety of shack
control interfaces. All with issue. I run this environment remote at times.

I do recommend that you go with as much memory as budget permits and a
multi-core environment.

Subject: [WriteLog] Windows 7 and usb

Hi Guys
I am working my way to a new computer with Windows 7. I am concerned as I
currently have 5 USB to Serial converters to make the station work. All of
these converters were the cheapest and they all worked just fine. Will I face
any grief with Windows 7 or can I expect I can get them to work? The old XP
machine is slowly grinding to a halt.
