It does work as Gary states, but if you use ADIF prefills from a previous
year's log then be careful as the old serial numbers will prefill the QTH
field for non-W/VE/XE stations. You'll have to replace the old serial
numbers when contacting these stations.
If you know a scripting language such as Perl or AWK then it shouldn't
be too hard to edit the serial numbers out of the ADIF file before
loading it.
