Hi Bryan,
Is it possible to provide optoisolator diagram similar to Don’s diagram for simple transistor
interface? Quite a few may be interested in building isolated circuit. I’ve built the interfaces
from Don’s diagram and worked great, were quick and fast interface solution. Perhaps with little
more time and planning available I’d have built the optoisolators too.

Hi Don,
That simple transistor interface offers zero ground loop
isolation between the PC and the rig. I used a dual
optoisolator IC to provide isolation before switching to
a fancy Rigblaster Pro (which uses optoisolators).
Then, I added a WinKeyer to get away from the
corrupted Morse problem.
Now that I'm having problems with the DVK function and not
finding a cure, I've decided to go with a simple homebrew
passive AF line-level mixer interface using better
transformers than are used in the RB interface.
Thanks to Steve N9OH for trying to help.

You can build a simple CW transistor interface. Diagram here:
