WriteLog Revision History

12.01 January, 2016
Settings are in the registry and are to be edited only from the startup screen.
They can be copied to/from an INI file, and imported from version 11
writelog.ini

12.29 June, 2018
The following INI entries, as of WriteLog version 12.29, are detected in
this [configuration] section, removed, and placed in
[ENTRY] when WriteLog starts up.
AutoSaveCount now in [Entry]
QsoWarningCount now in [Entry]
InsertOverridesCall now in [Entry]
CwSendPartialCallCorrections now in [Entry]
UpDownCyclesThroughLog now in [Entry]
MoveNextOnEnter now in [Entry]
LiveCwDelayMs now in [Entry]

You can create a wl.ini file by importing registry settings into a text file
(see the WriteLog startup screen).

The settings in the text (.txt) file can then be edited using a text editor
like Notepad.

The edited wl.ini text file can then be exported to writelog.ini in the
registry (see the WritwLog startup screen).

Using regedit run as an Administrator to edit the registry is not a good idea.

Marsh KA5M

There is Indeed an .ini file.

It is your Callsign. Ini

So in my case w3kb.ini

There are various Sections of the INI file such as [CONFIGURATION] or [ENTRY}
in that one file.

So in this particular case (as noted below) the AutoSaveCount=1 parameter went
in the [ENTRY] section of the overall w3kb.ini file
