Hi out there!

I have just bought a brand new FT50R  HT.
It seems like a nice little handheld and so far I am completely happy with
it ­ except for one thing:
When I use the external speaker/microphone MH­34 I get very bad audio
quality reports like "distorted", "cracked" and "blurry". Even "unreadable".
With the FT50R itself, without the extra mike there seems to be no problems.
I have been told that the MH­34 is not as good as the internal mike ­ but
should it be this bad?
Anyone else having similar problems?
