Problem solved... Sorta.. I want to thanks om7zz for pointing me to it. It
seems the QSK circuit is out of snuff. I shorted pins 3 and 8 on the band
data plug to disable the QSK and it works. Guess someone has adjusted the
QSK inside at one time and it's *just* on a borderline of being out of line
and decided it wanted to turn of TX for once. I'll get out the Service
Manual and track down the QSK adjust and get it back to line. Thanks for
all the help from hose who emailed. Saved a expensive trip to Yaesu for
nothing.
