Willem, this happened to me a number of years ago
after extended operation in a 160 contest.  One of the
large chip blocking capacitors in the output PN switch
assembly had heated so badly (I assume due to extended
running at 200W into a non-50j0 load) the solder had
reflowed.  Replacing and resoldering the chip cap
cured the problem, which has not reappeared.

I don't remember which cap it was - it was much larger
then most so it was probably a series cap in the RF
output path.  It will be obvious if this is the
problem.
