How far away from a given band should a plate choke resonance be to not cause a problem?? I have a resonance right on 18 mhz. in an amp, and am concerned that someone might want to use it on 18 mhz.

Thanks to all who replied to my question!!! I removed about 9 or 10 tuns on the choke and moved the resonance up to about 19.1 mhz. I don't think that will bother either 17 or 15 mtrs. It's sure nice

All the comments I've read here on the subject are very interesting, but one thing I haven't checked is for any other resonant points, as some have pointed out there may be, higher up the freq. range
