No. The tube is cut off. No plate current flows when the tube is cut off (biased off). And yes it does make things simpler than you were thinking! You need to find and study schematics of amplifiers

Look for a Papst or EBM blower. German made and very high quality. They have on line and down loadable catalogs. These are what Ameritron uses in their amps. I have one in my new home brew 8877 amp.
