I use the RF parts choke in my 3CX800 (160-10) amplifier. BUT I have a .01 Mfd cap at the base of the choke. Very important for keeping RF out of the power supply. Not sure if the RF parts choke will

Here is what I have found on the Alpha 76PA metering. The 5.1 volt zener was bad so the tubes had no bias. After replacing the diode, I put my Fluke meter in series with the plate supply to the tubes

The only problem installing anything shorted (stub, antenna choke etc) on the output connector is that you arc the T/R relay when it goes into transmit mode! Why not just put a choke or 100K resistor
