I had my repeat CQ set at 3 seconds and number of times, guys would start their reply at 2.99 secs, just as my CQ restarted :-) I think it's two primary factors: Non-contesters, not understanding the

There haven't been real districts for years. It's just a meaningless number, which in some cases indicates where the license was first issued. In the case of vanity calls, it's totally meaningless. B
