OK, I have thrown this one out before, but will try again. I need help. I have done basic alignment to PII, and transmit and receive are ON Frequency on transmit and receive. Matches readout perfectl
I am with KC8HXO. I love the Eagle, and have an Omni 6 option 3 and a Paragon II right now . The omni 6 platform-size- is what guys want, I think. The Orion is a better rig, but it would have fit in
Before you do anything else, check solder joints in vco 3 area on VCO board.....you will surely see some bad joints, or contaminated joints. Re solder anything in that are looking dull, or contaminat
I see a Jupiter with no power out, but it can be heard in nearby radio when transmitting. Sounds like finals. Is this a known issue? I dont see any major complaints on this. The guy wants $550, which
I am not an expert on this, by any means, but I have set up a few TT. NOT Orions, however, but I find similar results as you. I will now ramble. First did you check Bfo frequencies for USB and LSB(if
I did this on a few omni 6 rigs, as the pot would get dirty, and it moved normal volume to 12 o clock....should accomplish what you want, too. Part numbers may be different, but it worked for me on t
Would anyone have an Inrad filter #756, I think, to replace the ten tec 220 stock 2400hz filter in an Omni v/6/or paragon II? Looking to buy a used one if possible. Thanks, Mark K8VF
Why dont you check to see if it is an LDG tuner? If it is, it wouldn't be too hard to pull it, by-pass it so rig could still be used, and send to LDG. Just a thought. Mark

I bought a PII recently from a SK buddy's son. I am running into a couple issues. 1- after warming up, I am losing 160 meter , 80 meter, and 60 meter transmit and receive. Rig appears dead. Works ok
For what its worth, I got rid of the distortion by nulling the carrier. R39 on passband tuning board had to be bottomed out to do this, but it cleared up carrier and distortion.
It's a sad day for me,I turned my omni 7 on today and I have 100 watts on all modes(fm,am,cw,fsk) except SSB I only get 5 watts out and it's all distortion.I also put audio through ACC 1 and used lin
I sent mine in for an intermittent like that, only on 80 meters. Probably on oscillator board, which is under top cover, left front, UNDER the board shield. You need to dress the cables and insulate
Take a 4x6 inch card and start at the back, holding card vertically, only exposing 1/4 of the board at a time...as you go across, put the dryer to it, and if it comes on-or goes off, remove heat and
