RICK, OK, I've checked out both rigs, following your instructions along with those in the manuals. With the Corsair - No grid readings at all. checked the control board to see if any wires were cut.

I'd not use a 2N3055 substitute for a pass transistor in the 252M supply. The 2N3055 only has a collector current rating of 15 amps. There are better subs out there with higher ratings. I believe the

I never switched way back when. I use use the old system.  Metric system just never took hold.The newbies can use what ever they want to but us older guys will use what we learned in the dark ages.
