If you blew the glitch resistors on both amps, I'd say you either have a supply voltage issue, or are running the amps beyond their capabilities. 25ohm resistors are not going to fix the problem and

I use an RV Sewer Kit plus a square flange interconnect and quick disconnect. I put the blower in a sealed box with one side filtered and located in the attic and brought the hose out of the ceiling

I used to have a catalog that described how to slow blowers and it depended on the type of motor. One type you can use a resistor in line, the other type requires the use of an ac capacitor in-line.
