IMHO the graphite anode version puts out & maintains WAY MORE heat than the good old moly style. Just noticed recently RF Parts has a mention about that too. Dave N3DB Metal anodes were produced by E

I'd go with 1/4" flat strap in a "U" with a pair of 100 ohm 5w MOX in parallel. But, FWIW, I wouldn't use 572Bs either, though I am positive the latter comment will draw fire. 73 N3DB Dave I'm conver

Paul, your question is certainly clear enough here in reference to "tube geometry & circuit layout". Unless of course you've decided to play "blocks" with the SB200 internals. With that said, I did p

Hello All, Sounds counterintuitive as I know the Z-50 in the SB220 & others who covert them to 6m monoband amps do it but want to throw it out there for comment. I've got a Aerotron Navy surplus 3-40

Thanks Carl- I remember your mod, I'm just worried a bit because this will be much closer to the tank coil than the SB220 had. I replace RFC-2 in the SB-220 with a 25W glitch and never had a problem

Hi Ed, Great to hear from you even indirectly. My Harbach purchases of similar size arrived with a plywood base as I recall, an if my CRS-ridden memory serves correctly, this was then encased in a he
