I think it is more important to keep filament voltage at or below 6.3vac. Before modification, mine on a 30L-1 was over 6.9 standby and 6.7 under load. Don WA4NPL ____________________________________

But did anyone come up with the original article of using 4CX-250Bs in "semi" grounded grid ? I believe my amp used 100 ohm 2 watt on each grid to ground with the screens direct to ground. Don WA4NPL

There will be some loading when the meter is paralleled across the bottom 1Meg. Also make the lower resistor out of four 2 watt resistors in series-parallel. If one of the resistors opens up, you do
